James Wilkison

James Wilkison is a veteran of over 30 years in the fire service. He is currently serving as the Division Chief of the Information Management Division (IMD) for the Anne Arundel County Fire Department, a major metropolitan fire department with 31 stations and over 1,000 employees. As commander of IMD, he oversees the Department’s technology-related programs, radio system, and the County’s Fire and EMS 911 center. Division Chief Wilkison has served in the Operations Bureau, Emergency Medical Services Division, the Training Academy, and as a Shift Commander for the Anne Arundel County Fire Department. He is a National Register Paramedic and holds a Bachelor of Science in Fire Service Management from the University of Maryland, University College. He is currently a member of the IAFC Technology Committee.
