Tyler Lewis

Chief Tyler Lewis began his fire service career in 2006 with the Star Fire District. In 2012, he joined the Eagle Fire Department as part of a regional consolidation effort, where he steadily advanced through multiple leadership roles. Over his tenure at Eagle Fire, Chief Lewis has served as a Captain, Training Chief, Logistics Chief, and Deputy Chief of Operations before being appointed Fire Chief in 2021.
Chief Lewis is a graduate of Columbia Southern University and brings an extensive background in information technology, which he has leveraged throughout his career to modernize systems, improve operational readiness, and enhance data driven decision making within the department.
With nearly two decades of service, Chief Lewis is committed to advancing firefighter training, strengthening interagency cooperation, and fostering a culture of professionalism, innovation, and community focused service.
